Rogan Josh Recipes

Kadhai Paneer
Ingredients
  • Rogan Josh (300 gm)
  • Bowl Curry Spice mix
  • Paneer (250 gm)
  • Green Peppers (100 gm)
  • Oil (1 teaspoon)
  • Fresh coriander 
  • Cream 

Preparation

  • In a pan, heat oil and sauté green peppers
  • Add Rogan Josh, and spice mix according to taste, and heat
  • Add diced paneer and simmer for 5 mins
  • Finish with fresh chopped coriander, cream and salt to taste
Aloo do Pyaza
Ingredients
  •  Rogan Josh (300 gm)
  • Bowl Curry Spice mix
  • Baby potatoes (300 gm)
  • Onion (100 gm)
  • Cherry Tomatoes (100 gm)
  • Oil (50 gm)
  • Fresh coriander
  • Fresh Cream 

Preparation

  • In a pan, heat oil and sauté onions (cut into four and separate layers)
  • Add halved tomatoes and boiled potatoes to the pan and pan fry
  • Add Rogan Josh, and spice mix according to taste, and simmer for 5 mins
  • Finish with fresh chopped coriander, cream and salt to taste
Matar Paneer
Ingredients
  • Rogan Josh (300 gm)
  • Bowl Curry Spice mix
  • Paneer (300 gm)
  • Green Peas (100 gm)
  • Fresh coriander 
  • Cream 
Preparation
  • In a pan, add Rogan Josh, and spice mix according to taste, and heat
  • Add diced paneer, steamed green peas and simmer for 5 mins
  • Finish with fresh chopped coriander, cream and salt to taste
Garden Surprise
Ingredients
  • Rogan Josh (300 gm)
  • Bowl Curry Spice mix
  • Carrots (50 gm)
  • French Beans (50 gm)
  • Broccoli (50 gm)
  • Cherry tomatoes (00 gm)
  • Snow peas (50 gm)
  • Zucchini (50 gm)
  • Coloured peppers (50 gm)
  • Babycorn (50 gm)
  • Fresh coriander 
Preparation
  • In a pan, add Rogan Josh, spice mix according to taste and boiled vegetables (finger cut)
  • Simmer for 5 mins
  • Finish with fresh chopped coriander, cream and salt to taste
Mughlai Gobhi
Ingredients
  • Rogan Josh (300 gm)
  • Bowl Curry Spice mix
  • Cauliflower (400 gm)
  • Fresh coriander 
  • Cream 
Preparation
  • Steam cauliflowers
  • In a pan, add Rogan Josh, and spice mix according to taste, cauliflowers and simmer for 5 mins
  • Finish with fresh chopped coriander, cream and salt to taste
Matar Mushroom
Ingredients
  • Rogan Josh (300 gm)
  • Bowl Curry Spice mix
  • Button mushroom (200 gm)
  • Green peas (200 gm)
  • Oil (1 teaspoon)
  • Fresh coriander
  • Cream  
Preparation
  • Stir fry mushroom and green peas in oil
  • Add Rogan Josh, and spice mix according to taste to the mix and simmer for 5 mins
  • Finish with fresh chopped coriander, cream and salt to taste
Vegetable Malai Kofta
Ingredients
  • Rogan Josh (300 gm)
  • Bowl Curry Spice mix
  • Bottle gourd (300 gm)
  • French beans (20 gm)
  • Carrots (50 gm)
  • Potatoes (50 gm)
  • Cauliflower (30 gm)
  • Oil (1 kg)
  • 1 Teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Amchur powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 spoon cornflour powder
  • Half a lemon
Preparation
  • Grate bottle gourd and fine chop all the vegetables and sprinkle a pinch of salt over it. After 5 mins squeeze the water out
  • In a bowl, add the squeezed vegetables, cornflour powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, amchur powder, lemon and make a dough, and let it sit for 30 mins
  • Make balls of the dough, and fry it in hot oil
  • In a pan, heat the Rogan Josh, and spice mix according to taste, and add the kofta to the mix. Add around 50 ml of water and let it boil for 10 mins.
  • Salt to taste
Amritsari Chicken Masala
Ingredients
  • Rogan Josh (300 gm)
  • Bowl Curry Spice mix
  • Tandoori Tikka Marinade (300 gm)
  • Chicken (400 gm)
  • Fresh coriander
Preparation
  • Marinate chicken with the tandoori marinade
  • Roast the chicken in an oven/ tandoor
  • In a pan, add Rogan Josh, and spice mix according to taste and chicken tikka
  • Simmer for 5 mins
  • Finish with fresh chopped coriander, and salt to taste
Chicken Bharta
Ingredients
  • Rogan Josh (300 gm)
  • Bowl Curry Spice mix
  • Pulled Chicken (400 gm)
  • Oil (1 Spoon)
  • Fresh coriander 
Preparation
  • In a pan, sauté chicken with oil
  • Add Rogan Josh, and spice mix according to taste and simmer for 5 mins
  • Finish with fresh chopped coriander, and salt to taste
Mutton Rogan Josh
Ingredients
  • Rogan Josh (300 gm)
  • Bowl Curry Spice mix
  • Mutton (300 gm)
  • Onions (30 gm)
  • Garlic (10 gm)
  • Oil (1 Spoon)
Preparation
  • In a pan, heat oil and sautee the chopped onions and garlic
  • Add the red chilli powder, saunth powder and a pinch of salt to the mix
  • Add the mutton and cook it
  • Add the Rogan Josh, and spice mix according to taste to the pan
  • Simmer for 5 mins
 Tomato Fish Curry
Ingredients
  • Rogan Josh (300 gm)
  • Bowl Curry Spice mix
  • Fish of choice (300 gm)
  • Oil (1 Spoon)
Preparation
  • In a pan, heat oil and stir fry the fish
  • Add Rogan Josh, and spice mix according to taste and simmer the mix for 5 mins
  • Finish with cream and salt to taste
Prawn Masala
Ingredients
  • Rogan Josh (300 gm)
  • Bowl Curry Spice mix
  • King Prawns (300 gm)
  • Oil (1 Spoon)
Preparation
  • In a pan, heat oil and stir fry the prawns till golden
  • Add Rogan Josh, and spice mix according to taste and simmer the mix for 5 mins
