Chettinad Recipes
Palkatti Chettinadu
Ingredients
- Chettinad (300 gm)
- Bowl Curry Spice Mix
- Paneer (250 gm)
- Fresh coriander
Preparation
- In a pan, add Chettinad, and spice mix according to taste, and heat
- Add diced paneer and simmer for 5 mins
- Salt to taste
Bhindi Chettinadu
Ingredients
- Chettinad (300 gm)
- Bowl Curry Spice Mix
- Bhindi (450 gm)
- Oil (1 spoon)
- White sesame seeds (1 teaspoon)
Preparation
- In a pan, saute bhindi in oil
- Add Chettinad, and spice mix according to taste, and simmer for 5 mins
- Add roasted white sesame seeds
- Salt to taste
Chettinad Aloo
Ingredients
- Chettinad (300 gm)
- Bowl Curry Spice Mix
- Baby potatoes (300 gm)
- Fresh coriander
Preparation
- In a pan, add Chettinad, and spice mix according to taste, and heat
- Add boiled potatoes and simmer for 5 mins
- Salt to taste
Chettinad Korma
Ingredients
- Chettinad (300 gm)
- Bowl Curry Spice Mix
- Carrots (50 gm)
- French Beans (50 gm)
- Cauliflower (50 gm)
- Green peppers (50 gm)
- Paneer (50 gm)
- Potatoes (50 gm)
- Fresh coriander
Preparation
- In a pan, add Chettinad, and spice mix according to taste and boiled vegetables (finger cut)
- Simmer for 5 mins
- Finish with fresh chopped coriander and salt to taste
Chettinad Chicken
Ingredients
- Chettinad (300 gm)
- Bowl Curry Spice Mix
- Chicken (350 gm)
- Oil (1 spoon)
Preparation
- In a pan, heat oil, add diced chicken and stir fry the mix
- Once done, add water and let the chicken boil
- Add the Chettinad, and spice mix according to taste to the pan
- Simmer for 5 mins, and salt to taste
Chettinad Mutton Kalambu
Ingredients
- Chettinad (300 gm)
- Bowl Curry Spice Mix
- Mutton (400 gm)
- Oil (1 spoon)
Preparation
- In a pan, heat oil and sauté mutton
- Add the Chettinad, and spice mix according to taste to the pan
- Simmer for 5 mins and salt to taste
Stuffed Fish in Chettinad Curry
Ingredients
- Chettinad (300 gm)
- Bowl Curry Spice Mix
- Fish of choice (400 gm)
- Chopped Fish (30 gm)
- Onion (20 gm)
- Garlic (10 gm)
- Eggs (2 pc)
- Oil (1 spoon)
Preparation
- Chop onion, garlic, and add chopped fish and mix with eggs
- Stuff the mix inside the fish and steam it
- Take the fish out in a pan and cut it according to your preference
- Add Chettinad, and spice mix according to taste and simmer the dish for 5 mins
- Salt to taste
Masala Prawn
Ingredients
- Chettinad (300 gm)
- Bowl Curry Spice Mix
- King Prawns (300 gm)
- Oil (1 spoon)
- Coconut milk (50 ml)
Preparation
- In a pan, heat oil and stir fry the prawns till golden
- Add Chettinad, and spice mix according to taste, coconut milk and simmer the mix for 5 mins
- Salt to taste
Chettinad Egg Curry
Ingredients

- Bowl Curry Spice Mix
- Eggs (6 pcs)
- Oil (1 spoon)
Preparation
- Boil eggs
- In a pan, heat oil and fry the boiled eggs
- Add Chettinad, and spice mix according to taste and simmer the mix for 5 mins
